Welcome to The Advent Movement.Net
"The duty and delight of all service is to uplift Christ before the people. This is the end of all true labor. Let Christ appear, let self be hidden behind Him." Ellen G. White, Testimonies, volume 9, p. 147
Isaiah 11:1
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Your Redemption Draws Near
"As I hear of the terrible calamities that from week to week are taking place, I ask myself: What do these things mean? The most awful disasters are following one another in quick succession. How frequently we hear of earthquakes and tornadoes, of destruction by fire and flood, with great loss of life and property! Apparently these calamities are capricious outbreaks of seemingly disorganized, unregulated forces, but in them God’s purpose may be read. They are one of the means by which He seeks to arouse men and women to a sense of their danger. The coming of Christ is nearer than when we first believed. The great controversy is nearing its end. The judgments of God are in the land. They speak in solemn warning, saying: “Be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44. But there are many, many in our churches who know little of the real meaning of the truth for this time. I appeal to them not to disregard the fulfilling of the signs of the times, which says so plainly that the end is near. Oh, how many who have not sought their souls’ salvation will soon make the bitter lamentation: “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved”! We are living in the closing scenes of this earth’s history.
"Prophecy is fast fulfilling. The hours of probation are fast passing. We have no time—not a moment—to lose. Let us not be found sleeping on guard. Let no one say in his heart or by his works: “My Lord delayeth His coming.” Let the message of Christ’s soon return sound forth in earnest words of warning. Let us persuade men and women everywhere to repent and flee from the wrath to come. Let us arouse them to immediate preparation, for we little know what is before us. Let ministers and lay members go forth into the ripening fields to tell the unconcerned and indifferent to seek the Lord while He may be found. The workers will find their harvest wherever they proclaim the forgotten truths of the Bible. They will find those who will accept the truth and will devote their lives to winning souls to Christ.
"The Lord is soon to come, and we must be prepared to meet Him in peace. Let us be determined to do all in our power to impart light to those around us. We are not to be sad, but cheerful, and we are to keep the Lord Jesus ever before us. He is soon coming, and we must be ready and waiting for His appearing. Oh, how glorious it will be to see Him and be welcomed as His redeemed ones! Long have we waited, but our hope is not to grow dim. If we can but see the King in His beauty we shall be forever blessed. I feel as if I must cry aloud: “Homeward bound!” We are nearing the time when Christ will come in power and great glory to take His ransomed ones to their eternal home. In the great closing work we shall meet with perplexities that we know not how to deal with; but let us not forget that the three great powers of heaven are working, that a divine hand is on the wheel, and that God will bring His promises to pass. He will gather from the world a people who will serve Him in righteousness." E. G. White, CCh 355, 356
Proclaiming The Second Coming of Christ
The 1844 Movement - The Great Second Advent Awakening
An Eyewitness Account
“When the warning voice of the first angel was first heard, it found the nominal churches asleep upon the subject of the second advent, dreaming of the world’s conversion. But the truth was clear, and, in the hands of devoted men, was powerful. Every where the message was proclaimed it produced general conviction. The Scriptures were searched as never before; a great revolution in the religious belief took place in a few short years; and at least fifty thousand in American alone, became decided believers. The prophetic times in connection with that message served their purpose, and terminated with that message. The first angel was a time message. The second and third are not time messages. That aroused men in view of the fast approaching Judgment. These tell them what they must do to be saved. …
“The title page of this work calls attention to the great Advent movement as illustrated by the three angels of Rev. xiv. The truth and work of God in this movement, commencing with the labors of William Miller, and reaching to the close of probation, is illustrated by these three angels. The first was a time message, and related to the Judgment. The second described the condition of corrupted Christianity. The third is a solemn warning relative to what men may not do, and what they must do, in order to be saved at the coming of Christ. These angels illustrated the THREE GREAT DIVISIONS of the genuine movement. …
“I repeat it. THE THREE MESSAGES SYMBOLIZE THE THREE PARTS OF THE GENUINE MOVEMENT. …
“Again, the sanctuary was the heart of the typical system. It was the repository of the ark of God, in which ark His law was deposited. By this law the people had the knowledge of sin. It was also the place where they, in figure, found pardon for their sins through the offerings there made. This entire system, with it great center, the sanctuary, was but a shadow of the realities of the present system of salvation. The shadow was on earth; THE REALITY IS IN HEAVEN. The facts are stated by the apostle in few words: “We have such an High Priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” Heb. Viii 1,2. The sanctuary of the new covenant, which is in Heaven, is the great heart of the plan of redemption. There Christ offers His blood for the sins of men. In the real tabernacle there are two holies, if there were two in the shadow. In the holiest is the ark of God, containing the ten precepts of His law, if they were in the holiest of the shadow. Here is a theme worthy the attention of all Christians. And it is one in which they should feel the deepest interest, as each has a case of eternal consequences pending there.
"The work of cleansing this sanctuary, at the close of the 2300 days, is a subject which should materially interest all Adventists. It pertains to the confession, pardon, and blotting out of sins. A correct and intelligent faith sees the adorable Redeemer in the most holy of the true tabernacle, offering His blood before the mercy seat for the sins of those who have broken the law of God beneath it in the ark. True faith reaches within the second veil, where Jesus and the ark of God are seen. There, by the law we have the knowledge of sin, and through the blood of Jesus we may find pardon, and share eternal redemption. The subject of the cleansing of this sanctuary, then, is one of the most thrilling interest, especially to all Adventists. It is the key to the great Advent movement, making all plain. Without it, the movement is in explicable."

The Loud Cry Message of Revelation 14
The Latter Rain of Power FIRST requires the Latter Rain of Truth
Today, in the passing of time from our starting point of the Three Angels of 1844, from 1831 to 1844, in the Advent message after 1915, those who have not progressed to the FINAL or repeat phase of the Three Angels, beginning verse 15 of Revelation 14, typically believe that the Loud Cry message is a simple repetition of the FORMER message of the Third Angel of 1844, OR the Second Angel of 1844. This could never be. These two foundation messages came in the same year (1844), the Second and Third Angels, even though the First and Second Angels were BOTH part of the Millerite message, but not the Third Angel. The Third Angel, that began October 23, 1844, was not based on time, YET it was the fulfillment of William Miller’s message at the end of the 2300 days, October 22, 1844. What is the difference between the former message(s) and the latter message(s) of Revelation 14? The first three messages came under the time and ministration of the Judgment for the Dead. The latter THREE Angels of Revelation 14, starting verse 15, comes under the ministration of the Judgement for the LIVING saints, as was warned in The Great Controversy page 490.
“Solemn are the scenes connected with the closing work of the atonement. Momentous are the interests involved therein. The judgment is now passing in the sanctuary above. For many years this work has been in progress. Soon--none know how soon--it will pass to the cases of the living. In the awful presence of God our lives are to come up in review. At this time above all others it behooves every soul to heed the Savior's admonition: "Watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." Mark 13:33. "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." Revelation 3:3.” {GC 490.1}
Without the FINAL Three Angels of Revelation 14 we do not have any message TODAY, that is, our “light has turned into darkness”. The Loud Cry message cannot come, or could not develop without the NEW messages which are never taught or talked about from our modern publications or church institutions. We saw this darkness begin to develop at the 1888 Minneapolis Conference with the rejection of that message.
“God will not be trifled with. If those who have the light reject it, or neglect to follow it out, it will become darkness to them”. {2T 40.1}
EGW - Warning Against Despising God's Message
“I would speak in warning to those who have stood for years resisting light and cherishing the spirit of opposition. How long will you hate and despise the messengers of God's righteousness? God has given them His message. They bear the word of the Lord. There is salvation for you, but only through the merits of Jesus Christ. The grace of the Holy Spirit has been offered you again and again. Light and power from on high have been shed abundantly in the midst of you. Here was evidence, that all might discern whom the Lord recognized as His servants. But there are those who despised the men and the message they bore. They have taunted them with being fanatics, extremists, and enthusiasts.
“Let me prophesy unto you: Unless you speedily humble your hearts before God, and confess your sins, which are many, you will, when it is too late, see that you have been fighting against God. Through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, no longer unto reformation and pardon, you will see that these men whom you have spoken against have been as signs in the world, as witnesses for God. Then you would give the whole world if you could redeem the past, and be just such zealous men, moved by the Spirit of God to lift your voice in solemn warning to the world; and, like them, to be in principle firm as a rock. Your turning things upside down is known of the Lord. Go on a little longer as you have gone, in rejection of the light from heaven, and you are lost. "The man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation." {TM 96.2}
“I have no smooth message to bear to those who have been so long as false guideposts, pointing the wrong way. If you reject Christ's delegated messengers, you reject Christ. Neglect this great salvation, kept before you for years, despise this glorious offer of justification through the blood of Christ and sanctification through the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit, and there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation. I entreat you now to humble yourselves and cease your stubborn resistance of light and evidence. Say unto the Lord, Mine iniquities have separated between me and my God.
“I shall never, I think, be called to stand under the direction of the Holy Spirit as I stood at Minneapolis. The presence of Jesus was with me. All assembled in that meeting had an opportunity to place themselves on the side of truth by receiving the Holy Spirit, which was sent by God in such a rich current of love and mercy. But in the rooms occupied by some of our people, were heard ridicule, criticism, jeering, laughter. The manifestations of the Holy Spirit were attributed to fanaticism. Who searched the Holy Scriptures, as did the noble Bereans, to see if the things they heard were so? Who prayed for divine guidance? The scenes which took place at this meeting made the God of heaven ashamed to call those who took part in them, his brethren. All this the Heavenly Watcher noticed, and it is written in the book of God's remembrance. {PH080 16.3}
“The Lord will blot out the transgression of those who, since that time, have repented with a sincere repentance; but every time the same spirit wakens in the soul, the deeds done on that occasion are endorsed, and the doers of them are made responsible to God, and must answer for them at his judgment throne. The same spirit that actuated the rejecters of Christ, rankles in their hearts, and had they lived in the days of Christ, they would have acted toward him in a manner similar to that of the godless and unbelieving Jews. {PH080 17.1}
“God's servants have no tame testimony to bear at this time, whether men will hear or whether they will forbear. He who rejects the light and evidence God has been liberally bestowing upon us, rejects Christ; and for him there is no other Savior.
{PH080 17.1}
Furthermore, we read:
“When Christ desired to open to His disciples the truth of His resurrection, He began "at Moses and all the prophets" and "expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself." Luke 24:27. But it is the light which shines in the fresh unfolding of truth that glorifies the old. He who rejects or neglects the new does not really possess the old. For him it loses its vital power and becomes but a lifeless form. {COL 127.4}
“There are those who profess to believe and to teach the truths of the Old Testament, while they reject the New. But in refusing to receive the teachings of Christ, they show that they do not believe that which patriarchs and prophets have spoken. "Had ye believed Moses," Christ said, "ye would have believed Me; for he wrote of Me." John 5:46. Hence there is no real power in their teaching of even the Old Testament. {COL 128.1}
The Judgement for the Living is the Loud Cry Message
Without the completed messages of Revelation 14, we, Seventh-day Adventists, have no message, no Latter-Rain of truth, no power to demonstrate the truth. The Loud Cry message begins with the REPEAT of the Second Angel, Revelation 14:17 which is directly connected to the Revelation 18 Angel, the same message, declaring the fall of spiritual Babylon, first to the church then to the world. And, after 1915, there is a repeat of the First Angel (1930), Revelation 14:15, before the repeat of the Second Angel (1955), then comes the repeat of the Third Angel (1977), verse 18.
This progression of ALL the Revelation 14 Angels, Six Angels total, is how we may come to the knowledge and empowerment for the Loud Cry work, the latter-rain of Power. The Latter Rain of power may only be received after the “Latter Rain” of Truth. Only then may we recognize the Seventh Angel of Revelation 18:1, the Loud Cry Angel. In the progression of the Revelation 14 messages, beginning verses 6 & 7, we may NOT somehow jump to the Revelation 18 message without fulfilling the required preceding angels that close out the 14th chapter. The end time spiritual harvest will proceed by the prescribed developments of the Revelation 14 messages thus fulfilling end time harvest law (Lev. 23) and Gospel order.
The 1888 Message came to further unfold the Revelation 14 messages, A REVELATION OF CHRIST HIMSELF, but that message was ridiculed and rejected, the “angel sent back” to its heavenly origin. Elders A.T. Jones and E. J. Waggonner teaching would have developed into the Fourth and Fifth Angels of Revelation 14, giving “power and force to the Third Angel” of 1844. Then there would have developed the Sixth and Seventh Angels messages. A step-by-step progression of truth to the church, the Advent Movement.

The Sanctuary in Heaven
"Here is revealed the sanctuary of the new covenant. The sanctuary of the first covenant was pitched by man, built by Moses; this is pitched by the Lord, not by man. In that sanctuary the earthly priests performed their service; in this, Christ, our great High Priest, ministers at God's right hand. One sanctuary was on earth, the other is in heaven." {GC 413.2} (Click on picture for more)

“All classes of second advent believers agree , that the angel brought to view in the 6th and 7th verses of this chapter represents the advent message to the church and world. If this is true, then all FIVE of the angels brought to view in this chapter, represents FIVE DISTINCT MESSAGES, prior to the advent, or we are left without a rule to interpret this chapter.” Pages 10, 11
